Biography
Carol Zaricor, OTD, OTR, c/NDT is an Assistant Professor of Instruction in the Department of Occupational Therapy in the School of Health Professions at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB). She received her Bachelor of Science in Occupational
Therapy from the University of Louisiana at Monroe, a post-professional Doctorate in Occupational Therapy/Health Sciences and specialty certification in teaching and learning from the University of St. Augustine. She is currently in the dissertation
phase of her Ed.D. at the USAHS focusing on student outcomes and interprofessional practice during fieldwork.
Dr. Zaricor joined UTMB entry-level and post professional OT departments with 30 years of clinical experience and a certification in neurodevelopmental treatment (NDT). She taught at the masters and assistant levels for the 7 years; two at the University
of Mary Hardin Baylor and five at McLennan Community College. She is married with four children and one grandson. She enjoys being outside, traveling, and spending time with family.
