Emily Edgar is a second year MPH student in the Epidemiology concentration as well as one of the Global Health Certificate Students. She serves as the SPPH Student Association President. Her research interests are: One Health, Disaster Epidemiology, Infectious disease. In addition to this role, she serves as a School Senator, Galveston Chapter Chair for SiPH, Community Ambassador for PHEC Podcast, and Garden Leader for Groundswell.
She is extremely grateful for the student body for entrusting her in this role, and is grateful for her fellow board members. She is proud of what they have been able to accomplish as a student association, and she is excited to see where the next chapters take this organization.
