Mission Statement: The Fishing Club is a student run organization promoting healthy, stress reducing activities while raising awareness of responsible and sustainable fishing methods and preservation of aquatic habitats.

Activities: Activities include but are not limited to fishing, gear and rigging workshops, fish cleaning and preparation, beach cleanups, and fish frys

Mission Statement: The Powerlifting Student Association at UTMB is an educational and non-profit organization meant to teach and enhance man and woman of mankind’s primal state of physical dominance, ensure physical and mental wellness, and form camaraderie.

Mission Statement: To provide a fun, safe, stress-free environment for UTMB students and faculty to come together and play the sport of racquetball while promoting social interactions and friendly competition.

Activities: 
-Tutorials of how to play racquetball to promote new members
-Weekly games against members of similar skill level
-Annual Racquetball tournament
-Season games and playoffs
-Will offer volunteer events to promote helping community

Mission Statement: The Running Club is recreational sports organization whose objectives are to raise awareness of the sport of running at the university, to promote running with the goal of improving fitness and physical health, to provide a welcoming and educational environment for running, to encourage teamwork and camaraderie between students at UTMB, and to foster interest and participation in local, national, and international races.

Activities: Weekly group runs and participation in local/national races

Mission Statement: Our purpose is to provide education in and encourage the sport of sailing in both a competitive and non-competitive manner, to provide education in water safety measures as well as diagnosis and treatment of illnesses and injuries specific to the marine environment, to provide opportunities for instruction in the sport of sailing, to promote discussion of the sport of sailing.

Activities: Monthly sails, relevant lectures on tropical medicine, volunteering with sites such as Sea Scouts and beach cleanups, and potential to compete in races.
