The National Society of Leadership and Success
The National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) is the nation’s largest leadership honor society. In addition to honorable distinction, the Society provides a step-by-step program for members to build their leadership skills through participation in events hosted by the Office of Student Life. Membership in NSLS is for life and provides access to benefits including scholarships and awards, on-campus events, corporate discounts, recommendation letters, and more. At UTMB, we aim to make NSLS a chance for students to work interprofessionally – gaining leadership experience and building important communication skills.
NSLS is open to students campus-wide, invitations will be sent to all students at the beginning of the fall and spring semesters. Once students join NSLS they will need to complete all program requirements in order to be inducted. Requirements include attending orientation, Leadership Training Day, three speaker broadcasts, and completing three SNT meetings. Students should plan to dedicate one hour a week for one semester in order to meet the requirements. If you didn't receive an invitation or misplaced the information please contact The Office of Student Life (firstname.lastname@example.org).
If you are a distance student you need to self declare yourself to our office via email (email@example.com). Please include your full name, as registered with the school, as well as your program. You will only be granted distance access if you are a distance student.
