2020-2021 International Conference on Aging in the Americas

ICAAThe Conference Series on Aging in the Americas (CAA) utilizes research to augment knowledge about dimensions of healthful aging for people of Hispanic and Latin American descent. As this topic rapidly develops as a major policy and national budget issue, the CAA also aims to foster emerging scholars in the field. The 2020 ICAA is RESCHEDULED for September 23-24, 2021.



The Texas Resource Center on Minority Aging Research (RCMAR) provides mentorship to scholars with research focused on the health and aging in minority elderly populations with special emphasis on the Hispanic population in the United States and Mexico. The program is led by Kyriakos Markides, PhD, Yong-Fang Kuo, PhD and Rebeca Wong, PhD.
