Call for Seed Projects for Aging Collaborations Between UTMB and UT Austin

We invite teams of investigators from the University of Texas, Austin Center on Aging & Population Sciences, and the University of Texas Medical Branch Pepper Center / Texas RCMAR to submit collaborative proposals for seed projects to be completed during the period from July 1, 2022, through June 30, 2023. An introductory meeting is planned for October 1, 2021.

The Texas Resource Center on Minority Aging Research (RCMAR) provides mentorship to scholars with research focused on the health and aging in minority elderly populations with special emphasis on the Hispanic population in the United States and Mexico. The program is led by Kyriakos Markides, PhD, Yong-Fang Kuo, PhD and Rebeca Wong, PhD.
