Our Mission

The mission of UTMB HealthCare Systems (UTMB HCS) is to improve the health of Texas communities by creating a network of health care professionals engaging in state-of-the-art patient care, scholarly medical education, and innovative research.

Managed Care Programs

Managed Care services are provided through UTMB Health Plans, a licensed HMO available in Galveston County, Texas.

NOTICE: On January 1, 2010, UTMB HealthCare Systems ChoiceONE Select discontinued selling new policies. If you were a member with ChoiceONE Select prior to this time, your enrollment with our plan will continue until you are no longer eligible to participate or ChoiceONE Select is notified by you to cancel your policy.
