Houston Chronicle, Oct. 12, 2006http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/nb/bay/news/4253072.html In the past decade, University of Texas Medical Branch pathologist Dr. Yvonne Milewski has traveled the globe on grim missions, performing hundreds of autopsies on those caught in some of the world's worst ethnic and political clashes. Milewski, who now works in the UTMB-run Galveston County Medical Examiner's Office, produced forensic evidence in the genocide case against deposed Yugoslavian President Slobodan Milosevic and worked as a New York deputy chief medical examiner in the months following the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, helping identify the remains of hundreds of those killed in the World Trade Center.
