Port Arthur police get warrant to go after bullet in teen's head

Beaumont Enterprise, Dec. 13, 2006 Port Arthur police will try again this week to remove a bullet from a shootout suspect's head, a police official confirmed Tuesday. A search warrant issued Monday authorizes a surgeon to remove a bullet from Port Arthur teen Joshua Adam Bush's forehead against his consent. Police believe the bullet could be evidence in an attempted capital murder, the search warrant affidavit states. Dr. Susan McCammon of the University of Texas Medical Branch has agreed to perform the surgery Thursday in Galveston, according to the affidavit.
