Galveston County Daily News, Jan. 24, 2007 TEXAS CITY - A Web site created to make public documents related to the fatal 2005 explosions at BP's Texas City refinery will go dark today. The site born from BP's landmark settlement with Eva Rowe will remain down for a month as jury selection gets under way for the next round of blast related cases. The www.texascityexplo Web site was created as a mechanism to release internal BP reports and transcripts from depositions connected to the March 23, 2005, blasts that killed 15 people and injured more than 170.The site also contained links to news coverage of the Texas City blasts as well as links to help support foundations set up at UTMB, College of the Mainland and other educational institutions as part of Rowe's settlement.
