Houston Chronicle, Feb. 16, 2007 GALVESTON - The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston is again asking people to donate blood. The UTMB blood bank continues to experience shortages. A cold and rainy January led to supply problems that are only getting worse, says Christi G. Hopkins, administrative coordinator for donor services. The blood bank is open 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday. The donor room is on the first floor of the John Sealy Annex in Room 1.210.
