How would you like to meet and get to know five of them? “A Lion in the House” gives you that opportunity. This documentary — which premieres on PBS on June 21 and 22 — follows the cancer journeys of five young people during a six-year period. It offers you an uncensored glimpse into their remarkable lives and opens your eyes to their struggles and triumphs. You can get a sneak peek at the film during a free preview screening event on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. It takes place at the University of Texas Medical Branch’s Levin Hall. Several of my colleagues in the fight against childhood cancer and I will be there to answer your questions.
