Galveston County Daily News (Internet / Print) 05/29/06 Ask a question, and you will either get an answer or start someone seriously thinking. Last month, Trisha Wooten, for University of Texas Medical Branch’s Understanding Religious Diversity Dialogue series, invited me to be a presenter at their May meeting and proposed three questions for my response. What fun it was to review a lifetime of experiences by searching through my old files and newspaper clippings as I prepared my answers. And what a joy it was to serve on the panel with Dr. Sidney Kay, an octogenarian of Jewish ancestry and self-professed agnostic, before an audience of 70-plus diverse people. The three questions did, indeed, start me to seriously thinking about faith and its role in our health.
