Sale to raise funds for mobile clinic

Galveston County Daily News (Internet / Print) 05/11/06 http://news.galvestondailynews.com/story.lasso?ewcd=c7f55730c0265326 Volunteers for The Jesse Tree’s Bolivar Peninsula branch will be trying to secure a $10,000 challenge grant when they stage their “Gigantic Garage Sale” on Memorial Day weekend. Organizers say the grant from the permanent endowment fund at Moody Memorial First United Methodist Church would go toward mobile health services for the peninsula. The mobile health center, which would be staffed by personnel from the University of Texas Medical Branch, would provide an assessment of health needs for those referred by The Jesse Tree.
