Chores can help kids build planning, life skills

Teaching children life skills and assigning household chores are responsibilities that parents should take seriously, say UTMB Drs. Sally Robinson and Keith Bly in their Keeping Kids Healthy column. Developing these skills early makes children more capable as they grow, and chores help children feel they are part of the family.
