As in 2005, no Texas hospital made the magazine's "honor roll" of best overall. The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center held its national rank of the No. 2 provider of cancer care. M.D. Anderson Cancer Center also garnered the No. 5 ranking in gynecology, and top 10 slots in urology and ear, nose and throat care. The Houston institution with the greatest number of categories was Methodist Hospital, with rankings in six specialties, the highest being a No. 10 rank in neurology and neurosurgery. Other ranked hospitals include: Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center and the University of Texas Medical Branch Hospitals, Galveston.
