Displaced med students rejoice

Houston Chronicle (Internet / Print) 03/17/06 http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/metropolitan/3729634.html Just as Hurricane Katrina didn't cancel Mardi Gras, the storm couldn't stop the tradition of Match Day for displaced fourth-year medical students from Tulane University. About 300 first- and second-year Tulane medical students continued their studies on the campus of Baylor after Hurricane Katrina. Another 300 third- and fourth-year students attended classes at Baylor, the University of Texas Medical School at Houston, the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and Texas A&M University System Health Science Center College of Medicine.
