Tour historic Galveston homes this weekend

UTMB’s Open Gates Conference Center is one of 10 homes on the Galveston Historic Homes Tour this weekend. Usually the home is not open to the public. UTMB’s Judy Loney explained that the home, built in 1889 for George and Magnolia Sealy, was a refuge for as many as 400 Galvestonians during the 1900 hurricane.
