Inside UTMB: UTMB police to conduct exercise

News in this week’s Inside UTMB column: UTMB police will conduct an active-shooter training exercise in John Sealy Hospital on Wednesday; beginning this week, there will be impacts to traffic in the areas of Texas Avenue and Fourth Street (Holiday Drive); the Osler Student Societies and UTMB Student Government Organizations are hosting the annual Fall Halloween Carnival from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday; UTMB and the Stark Diabetes Center are sponsors of the American Diabetes Association Community Walk to Stop Diabetes on Friday; UTMB’s Physical and Occupational Therapy Clinic in Texas City is moving; Dr. Virginia A. Rauth was elected president of the Texas Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Inside UTMB is compiled weekly by the UTMB Office of Marketing and Communications.
