Ed OwensManager of Clinical Support Services

Ed Owens began his career a Correctional Officer and rose through the ranks to serve as a Warden, Regional Director, ID Deputy Director for Support Services, Operations Division Director, and he retired from the system in 2007 as Deputy Executive Director of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.  He is a graduate of Sam Houston State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology and Corrections.  Ed began working with UTMB Correctional Managed Care in 2015 as Program Manager of Outpatient Operations and in 2017 became the Manager of Clinical Support Services.
