Veronica Kwarteng-Amaning, RN, PhD, MHA, CCRN, NE-BCAssoc Chief Nursing Officer for Hospital Galveston

Veronica Kwarteng-Amaning’s career began at the University of Texas Medical Branch- Galveston where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She furthered her education at the University of Houston Clearlake, earning a Master’s in Health Care Administration. Veronica joined TDCJ- Hospital Galveston in 2009 where she held positions of Assistant Nurse Manager, Nurse Manager, and Assistant Director of Nursing Service. She holds a PhD from the University of Texas Medical Branch, Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. She currently serves as the Director of Patient Care Services and Associate Chief Nursing Officer for TDCJ Hospital Galveston.
