“Mack” ponies are given as gifts to Wells Fargo customers nationwide every year during the Christmas season. There are always some ponies left at the end of the season and this year, Wells Fargo representatives from the Seabrook office came to UTMB and donated extra ponies to hospitalized children.
Mackwas the name of one of the real horses who made up the original horse teams that pulled eight stage coaches daily for the Wells Fargo & Company’s Pioneer Line in the mid-1800s.
