UTMB held its 23rd annual Welcome Weekend — a collaborative university event coordinated by the Office of Student Life, Student Organization leaders and the UTMB Alumni Office that welcomes and provides orientation for the Fall 2013 incoming students. The event showcases the UTMB culture, provides opportunities to build peer networks and introduce UTMB leadership to new students.

During the day's events, students and their parents heard from UTMB leaders and administration from the schools. Students also heard from several student organizations, local businesses, churches and other vendors at the Community Fair and finished their day with a lunch and casino mixer.
