UTMB is offering a new service during football season — a Saturday Sports Injury Clinic inside the UTMB Specialty Care Center at Victory Lakes, 2240 Gulf Freeway South in League City.

The clinic is open from 9 a.m. to noon every Saturday between Aug. 31 and Nov. 9. Staffed by sports medicine physicians and physical therapists, the clinic will offer treatment for the kinds of injuries that can happen during football season — fractures, dislocations, sprains and torn ligaments in particular. In addition, the clinic will offer X-rays, MRIs and CT scans as needed.
