The UTMB Health Business and Finance division recently launched its own web portal, providing a simpler, more customer friendly way to learn about and access various business operational services. Developed by a task force of about 45 employees from across the institution over the course of FY 2010, the web portal features descriptions of services and contact information about each functional area within Business and Finance. Its robust search function allows users, both internal andexternal, to quickly and easily locate and access information and services.

“This web portal will ultimately change and improve many aspects of the way we do business at UTMB Health,” Elger said. “We recently rolled out the basic package of information and services, and we are very proud of this effort and the people who’ve worked very hard to bring this project to fruition.”
