UTMB opened three new clinics in Brittany Bay specializing in ear, nose and throat care, oral surgery and rehabilitation services. The adjacent suites, totaling 15,400 square feet, located at 1600 West League City Parkway, celebrated their grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Nov. 17.
“We are excited and proud to bring additional health care services to the League City area,” said Donna Sollenberger, executive vice president and CEO of UTMB’s Health System. “Each clinic will be staffed by the most highly qualified health care providers whose patients will benefit from UTMB Health’s broad expertise and the newest treatments and innovations available.”
The Ear, Nose and Throat Consultants and Center for Audiology and Speech offers a variety of adult and pediatric services. These include head and neck surgery, reconstructive surgery, hearing aids, vestibular testing, laryngology (voice and swallowing disorders, sleep apnea), rhinology (sinus and nasal surgeries and disorders), otology/neurotology (balance disorders and dizziness, hearing loss, ringing in ears), allergies and speech evaluations and treatment. The clinic was previously located at 651 FM 270.
The Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic provides care to patients needing a variety of surgeries of the face and mouth, incorporating new technologies into the surgical care of patients. Services include, among others, dental implants and extractions, pediatric oral surgery, bone grafts, jaw surgery, alveolar cleft repair, obstructive sleep apnea and reconstructive surgery.
The Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Clinic provides general and specialty services for adults and adolescents needing occupational therapy, physical therapy and sports medicine. Services include custom splinting, sports therapy, spine rehabilitation and post-surgical therapy. The clinic also provides certified hand therapy, certified vestibular rehabilitation and certified McKenzie rehabilitation.
