UTMB celebrated Employee Service Day on March 23, with 2,294 employees receiving their service pins. Collectively, these recipients represent 23,355 years of service to the university and its mission. The service pins are presented in five-year increments, with 50 years being the longest tenure honored at this ceremony.
UTMB also honored 395 GEM recipients. These employees have been singled out by their peers for "Going the Extra Mile."
