Virology field trip

A group of UTMB Physician Assistant Studies students recently took a field trip to the Frost Bank Building on 22nd and Market streets to visit the Department of Clinical Virology headquarters for UTMB/CMC telehealth services. They were able to observe two live-patient encounters, tour the facilities and interact with a “simulated” patient via telemedicine equipment.
