UTMB’s Texas City Physical and Occupational Therapy Clinic  moved to a new location, 6504 Memorial Drive, in Texas City.  The new facility, adjacent to the Mainland Medical Center, offers improved accessibility and patient privacy.

OLLI registration at Victory Lakes

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute is expanding its curriculum to UTMB’s Specialty Care Center at Victory Lakes, 2240 Gulf Freeway South, in League City. On Wednesday, OLLI will hold in-person membership and registration at Victory Lakes from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.Individuals can register for classes in Galveston as well. Colloquium

“A medical humanities approach to medicine in Western painting tradition” was the topic of a special colloquium by Sefik Gorkey, a visiting scholar at the Institute for the Medical Humanities. He is a founder and chairman of the Medical Ethics and History of Medicine department at Marmara University in Istanbul.
