Members of the President’s Cabinet recently toured the UTMB Specialty Care Center at Victory Lakes. The President’s Cabinet, open to all, is a development vehicle for supporting many programs at UTMB Health. The cabinet is comprised of friends, alumni, faculty, business and community leaders who are dedicated to the advancement of educational, community and research activities.
Seven innovative UTMB programs received President Cabinet Awards in 2010 totaling $210,704. The award recipients included 10 faculty and staff and one medical student whose programs will help advance the university’s patient care, educational and biomedical research missions.
