UTMB Health’s Aerospace Medicine residents oversaw the first aid tents at this year’s Wings Over Houston event at Ellington Airport. A total of 125 volunteers donated their time to the endeavor, treating 67 patients, mostly with heat related and soft tissue injuries, one heart attack, one broken ankle and one defibrillator firing. Thank you, volunteers, for helping keep everyone safe and healthy at this event!
