Postoffice Street near 8^th Street is scheduled to be closed for three days, starting at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 24. Motorists will be unable to use 8^th Street to enter Parking Garage No. 6 or the “R” parking lot on Postoffice Street. Motorists will be able to get to the garage by entering Postoffice Street at 6^th Street, just west of the closure site. “R” lot access will be from the adjacent alleyway only.

Crews plan to place a crane on Postoffice, just east of 8^th, to move material from the roof of the Rebecca Sealy Hospital building. Work is scheduled to be completed by 6 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 26.
