Radiation Oncology celebrated a milestone recently with the weekend-long delivery of their new accelerator, the Varian Trilogy, which features advanced SRS technology from BrainLAB.  Using state-of-the-art technology it eradicates cancer cells by delivering treatments faster and with more precision than its predecessor – a winning combination in the fight against cancer. The massive machine is safely housed on the first floor of the John Sealy Hospital inside a sealed vault,  behind water-tight submarine doors to protect it from the elements.
