In an effort to enhance the efficiency of UTMB radiology services, the Radiology Imaging Center, currently located at 1635 Broadway in Pearland, will be moving services to the UTMB Specialty Care Center at Victory Lakes, 2240 Gulf Freeway South in League City, on August 31, 2012.

The Advanced Imaging Clinic at the UTMB Specialty Care Center is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, including Digital Diagnostic Radiology; a 64-Slice CT scanner equipped to provide low-dose radiation exposure; two MRI scanners, including a Short-Bore Wide 3T Open MRI to accommodate claustrophobic and bariatric patients; Ultrasound; Breast Imaging, including full-field digital mammography; Nuclear Medicine, including SPECT/CT; and equipment for special procedures including single and biplane imaging equipment.
