UTMB Health has restructured its compensation system to align with the institution’s business strategy and the objectives outlined in The Road Ahead.
The new model will enable us to compete for and retain the talent and expertise necessary to carry out our mission as a leader in health sciences education, research and patient care.
Resources are available to help employees understand the restructured compensation system and its impact on our Total Rewards program.
Training sessions on the new system are currently being held for all managers to provide them with an overview of the new compensation philosophy and methodology. The training, scheduled through Oct. 11, outlines the components of a job description; the minimum, midpoint, and maximum of an imputed range; and reviews employee movement within the new structure.
