Dr. Yu is an assistant professor and clinical ethicist in the Institute for Bioethics and Health Humanities and holds the Frances C. & Courtney M. Townsend, Sr., MD Professorship in Medical Ethics at the University of Texas Medical Branch. Previously, she was a clinical ethics fellow at the Alden March Bioethics Institute at Albany Medical College. She obtained a PhD in Philosophy from The Ohio State University. Dr. Yu’s research focuses on well-being, medical decision making, and health policies for vulnerable populations.
