Laboratory Accreditation

Laboratory Services is licensed by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) under the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments of 1988 (CLIA '88). The College of American Pathologists (CAP) is the accrediting organization for all specialties and subspecialties with the exception of Tissue Antigen, which is accredited by the American Society for Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics (ASHI) respectively.
