Installation
Prerequisite: Microsoft Word. If you meet the requirements for Word, you are good to go!
UTMB has an unlimited user license for Wimba Create. The software is distributed by UTMB Academic Resources.
Course Genie was an earlier name of the product and you will still see traces of the name here and there in the industry, in discussion groups, and even in the programs themselves (e.g. often CG shows up). When you install WC, the program will be put into a folder named c:\Program Files\courseGenie.

Begin installation of Wimba Create on your computer using the Installation Instructions from UTMB Academic Resources.
Two license key files will be e-mailed to you. You do not need to open these files; you do need to copy them into c:\ProgramFiles\CourseGenie.
If you are successful with the installation, you will see the Wimba Create tab at the right side of the top-menu in Word (from Office 2003) (will look different if you are using Office 2007).
To Start Wimba Create, go to the Tools menu at the top of Word.
Wimba Create must be installed on any computer you may be working on.
