Diaper dermatitis

Diaper dermatitis is a common condition (20%) that presents in diaper-wearing infants and children due to prolonged exposure to urine and feces. It presents with erythema, edema with papular and pustular lesions involving the perigenital and perianal skin, as well as the inner aspects of the thighs and buttocks.
