Stephens-Johnson Syndrome (SJS) & Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis (TEN)

Stephens-Johnson Syndrome (SJS) and Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis (TEN) are both cutaneous drug-induced or idiopathic reaction patterns characterized by skin tenderness and erythema of the skin and mucosa followed by extensive cutaneous and mucosal exfoliation. Both are life-threatening due to multi-system involvement, however TEN is more severe.
