The Animal Welfare Office (AWO) and IACUC are pleased to announce the Recognizing Excellence in Animal Care and Use Program has officially launched, and nominations are now open.
This initiative celebrates members of the UTMB Animal Care and Use community who demonstrate an exceptional commitment to the ethical care and welfare of animals in research.
All program details—including eligibility criteria, nomination instructions, and the online submission form—are now available on AWO website Recognizing Excellence in Animal Care and Use Program.
- Nominations for 2026 are now open and must be submitted by March 1, 2026.
