****IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR ACCOUNT LOG IN EFFECTIVE 05 April 2024****

To further enhance the security of the ClinCard platform, Greenphire is rolling out Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), effective 5 April 2024.

Below are details to explain what this means and the impact on how you login to the ClinCard portal.

Overview
What is multi-factor authentication (MFA)?
Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is an account login method requiring two or more verification credentials to gain access to an application. In addition to standard login credentials (email and password), the ClinCard system will require a unique passcode that will be sent to your specified authentication method or device.

Important note:  The login screen will have a different look as depicted below and you will be using your email address on file to login rather than your current username. Additionally, after the initial authentication, you will not need to reauthenticate unless you have not accessed ClinCard for 90 days or are accessing the system from a new device or browser.

How do I login once Multi-Factor Authentication goes live?
1. Navigate to www.clincard.com, enter your email address and click Login. The Add Authentication Method window will display, with your email address in a read-only field.
2. Click Next. An email containing a one-time passcode will be sent to your email address.
3. Enter the one-time passcode in the Multi-Factor Authentication prompt and click Submit. Note that if for some reason the passcode is invalid, click Resend to repeat this process. Passcodes are valid for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes have passed, you will need to click the Resend link to receive a new one. If the passcode entered is successful, you will be navigated to the Set Up Your Password prompt.
4. Set a password that meets the password requirements described and click Submit. Once your password is successfully saved, you will have the ability to add an additional authentication method now or choose to do so later. Note that Greenphire's recommended best practice is for users to have at least two authentication methods registered.
5. If you would like to add an additional authentication method, click Yes, Add an Additional Method. The authentication methods you can add are Text to your mobile phone, Voice call, or an Authenticator App.
6. If you are adding an authentication method, select the authentication method you would like to add and click Submit.
7. Follow the appropriate instructions, depending on the authentication method chosen.
i. If you selected Text (SMS Message), you will be prompted to select the appropriate country code from the country dropdown and enter your mobile phone number, then click Submit.
ii. If you selected Voice Call, you will be prompted to select the appropriate country code from the country dropdown and enter your phone number, then click Submit.
8. You will be prompted to read and accept the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. Once you have read them, click Accept. If your user profile was created with a country of residence selected, you will be redirected to your ClinCard Portal Landing page. If your user profile was created without a country of residence selected, you will be prompted to first choose a country from the Country of Residence dropdown. Do so and click Ok. You will be redirected to your ClinCard Portal landing page. Note that you will not be required to reauthenticate unless you have not accessed ClinCard for 90 days or are accessing the system from a new device or browser.
