The Common forms have been cleared by OSTP and OMB and new forms are posted on the NSF website.NIH Adoption Estimated Timeline:Common Forms (Biosketch and Current and Pending (Other) Support) Implementation: January 2025The NIH will ultimately require the use of SciENcv for the development of Common Forms. Templates will be available by May 2025Until the Common Forms are fully adopted by the NIH, NIH requires applicants and recipients use the current NIH Biosketch and Other Support formats for applications, JIT Reports and RPPRs.Electronic signatures and supporting documentation are required.Failure to follow the appropriate formats may cause NIH to withdraw applications from or delay consideration of funding.Watch this video clip (4 min 7 seconds) from the most recent NIH Grants Policy Update webinar for additional details: OSRD will provide additional updates as they become available from the NIH.
