The Institute for Human Infection and Immunity and Sealy Center for Microbiome Research will jointly hold the UTMB Microbiome Symposium 2023 on the morning of April 6, 2023, where Dr. Jane Foster, Professor of UT Southwestern Medical Center, and Dr. Jun Sun, Professor of University of Illinois at Chicago, will be plenary speakers. This event will provide an opportunity for researchers who are interested in the microbiome to come together to share and hear about some of the latest work happening in microbiome research, learn about the resources for microbiome research, and set up potential collaborations.

All UTMB faculty members, postdoctoral, and graduate researchers who are doing microbiome related research are encouraged to submit an abstract for a short (10-minutes or less) talk to Jennifer Young (AE) at jenyoung@utmb.edu.
