We've updated our community standards for social media accounts affiliated with UTMB. The new standards better articulate the type of content, comments and posts appropriate for our sites, and outline what types of information are not appropriate. The new document is ready for sharing by those who manage UTMB's social properties.
Feeling Social?
Our goal is to develop a strategy that empowers people with knowledge about social tools, enabling them to advocate in an appropriate fashion for our programs, helping us to enhance service, increase satisfaction and spread the word about UTMB Health.
Of course, our objective is also to do this in a way that complies with university policies and protects us and UTMB from unnecessary risk and liability.
We want to increase collaboration and integration and put existing work to new uses. Many at UTMB already manage very successful social initiatives. We’d like to showcase YOU, and ask you to share what it takes to be successful, to teach others, and in turn, to maybe pick up a few new tricks along the way.
