Effective Jan. 1, 2026, the CPT codes for lower extremity revascularization have changed. They are organized by the artery as well as straightforward complexity with stenosis (some blood flow) or complex with occlusion (no blood flow).

APP Spotlight: Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioners in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics
The Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics within the Department of Pediatrics at UTMB Hospitals is expanding its Advanced Practice Provider workforce with the integration of Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs). This addition reflects an intentional evolution of the division’s care model in response to the increasing prevalence, complexity, and acuity of pediatric mental, behavioral, developmental, and learning concerns.
G0136 – New Definition for 2026
Effective January 1, 2026, G0136 has a new definition. CMS proposed to delete this code for 2026. Due to public comments, CMS chose to keep the code but has changed its definition.
