Miscellaneous Memorabilia Collection
Artifacts held by the department include microscopes that document the development of microscopy from the 18th century to the first quarter of the 20th century, and assorted medicine chests and cases from the 19th century. In addition, there are approximately
2,000 medical artifacts including medals, statues, antique cardiac diagnostic and x-ray equipment, analytical balances, laboratory glassware, and various surgical instruments.
