UTMB Researchers Honored with Global Impact Award
Scientists at UTMB have been conducting important research with SARS-CoV-2 to develop diagnostics, therapeutics and vaccines since the pandemic began.
On Friday, Feb. 26, the Galveston Regional Chamber of Commerce honored the entire research enterprise with a Global Impact Award. Accepting the award on behalf of the team were Dr. Ben Raimer, President ad interim of UTMB and senior members of the UTMB research enterprise.
