Beth Reimschissel honored

Congratulations to Angleton Danbury Campus Hospital Administrator and Associate CNO Beth Reimschissel, who recently was named the Greater Angleton Chamber of Commerce’s Citizen of the Year.

Beth was nominate for the award by Trish Thompson, public affairs manager at MEGlobal North America. The award was presented by Greater Angleton Chamber of Commerce Board Chair Shane Jennings, who read from the nomination:

"Citizen of the Year nominees are individuals who consistently strive to give themselves to others through working with a servant’s heart, dedication to our community, and someone who contributes to the progress of society. This award aims to recognize the recipient's extraordinary contributions and passion for their family, community, and career.

"This individual spends her time volunteering with the Angleton Rotary club, Brazoria County Alliance, and is on the Board of Directors for the Angleton Chamber of Commerce. Her passion, dedication, leadership, and significant efforts to provide quality healthcare in our community have proved her sincere interest in the well-being of the area.

"One of her career passions is serving as an international Magnet Accreditation appraiser surveying hospitals recognized for nursing excellence, she is an Adjunct Associate Professor for the UTMB School of Nursing and works closely in the collaboration between UTMB and clinical partnership organizations. She also recently completed her PhD at Texas Women University Houston Campus and conducted her research on Perceptions of Caring from Oncology Patient through nurse caring actions.

"I don’t know when this woman sleeps, but when she isn’t working, she is spending time with her 9-year-old daughter, Brynn, her high school sweetheart Brent, and their large quantity of animals – or riding her Peloton.

"It is my honor and privilege to announce that the 2022 Citizen of the Year is Dr. Beth Reimschissel."

Congratulations, Beth!
