Preeti Jolly is passionate about value-based healthcare and brings in years of experience in delivering and improving direct patient care across the continents. Currently Preeti is studying for her MHA at UHCL and will be graduating in the Spring of 2023. She is a certified Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt.
Previously, Preeti worked as a Senior Clinical Research Assistant at Center for Innovations in Quality, Effectiveness and Safety (IQuEST ) at Baylor College of Medicine and Michael E Debakey VA Medical Center, Houston. To reduce errors in diagnosis, she conducted clinical reviews of patient’s EHR and used Safer Dx to identify missed opportunities of diagnosis for research database.
Preeti was a practicing physician for the past 20+ years including treating patients in primary care to specialty training in diabetes and endocrinology in Kuwait. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in medicine from New Delhi, India and post graduate studies in London. As a practicing physician, she won the Excellent Physician Performance Award for several consecutive years in Kuwait. Besides work she enjoys learning languages and cross-cultural interactions.
Fun fact: Preeti braved the invasion of Kuwait by Iraq and has re-located to 3 continents.
